SYMPTOMS

CAUSE

This problem occurs because recycled temporary file names in the file cache of Microsoft Internet Explorer may change the internal image cache of Microsoft Office. This causes the incorrect image to be retrieved from the internal image cache.

MORE INFORMATION

The following syntax for an image tag is an example of one possible cause for this problem:
<img src='http://website.server.com?q=parameter:redirected.website/imagename.jpg'/>

This type of image link is returned when you query a search engine for a keyword. The database returns a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that is dynamically added to a Web page with scripting code, such as Active Server Pages (ASP).
