OL2002: Wireless Transport Messages Have a One Minute Polling Interval (317424)

are working in the Offline mode in Outlook 2002. This means that it takes up to
one minute to send wireless transport messages using a third-party transport
provider. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest
service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the

After you apply the fix, add the following registry
setting. WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious
problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft
cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry
Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. - Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
- Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences - On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: SendImmediatelyOffline Data type: DWORD Radix: BINARY Value data: 1 - Quit Registry Editor.

This problem was first corrected in Microsoft
