Windows MovieMaker or the Microsoft Producer program may unexpectedly quit while you are importing, previewing or publishing source content that uses the driver from C-Media, and you may receive the following error message:
Moviemk.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the data that the error report contains, error signature information that is similar to the following information may be displayed:

CAUSE

This issue can occur when a fault occurs in the C-Media Cmaudio.ax driver file.
