Cannot See File Attachment in UUENCODE-Formatted Messages (317102)

When you use the POP3 or IMAP4 protocol to download e-mail messages by using the Pocket PC 2002 Inbox tool, some file attachments may not be recognized.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the file attachment is attached to a message that was formatted by using the UUENCODE message format.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use the MIME message format instead of the UUENCODE message format when you send e-mail messages to a Pocket PC 2002-based device.

If a UUENCODE-formatted message that contains a file attachment is received by the Pocket PC 2002 Inbox tool, the message icon does not indicate that the message contains a file attachment. When you open the message, the file attachment is not displayed.
