STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Service Pack 2.CAUSE
The HTTP transport fails to deliver the document under the following conditions:
- You configure a messaging port to use a primary transport of HTTP.
- You configure the address with a non-standard port other than 80 (such as http://remoteserver:81/test.htm).
- You subsequently configure the advanced properties of a channel that is bound to this port to Use HTTP proxy.
In this scenario, you receive an error from the proxy server that states that the connection fails when this Channel/Port combination is used to process documents.
