This information is incorrect; you can install the Microsoft BizTalk Server databases on a Microsoft SQL Server computer that uses either of the following authentication modes:
  • Windows only
  • SQL Server and Windows

You have to install the BizTalk Server databases on a SQL Server computer that uses an authentication method which supports Windows authentication. Both the Windows only and the SQL Server and Windows authentication modes support Windows authentication; therefore, you can install the BizTalk Server databases on a SQL Server computer that uses either authentication mode.
