Grand Theft Auto 2 Stops Responding When You Try to Start It (316470)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to start the DMA Design Grand Theft Auto 2 program, the program may stop responding (hang), and you may receive the following error message:

Gta2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you view the data that the error report contains, the following error signature information may be listed:

CAUSE

This issue can occur if have not yet applied a software patch for Grand Theft Auto 2 that resolves a problem with Grand Theft Auto 2.
