When you try to upgrade your Sony VAIO PCG-FXA portable computer from Windows Millennium Edition to Windows XP Professional, Setup may stop responding with approximately 34 minutes remaining.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the version of Windows Millennium Edition that was included with the computer uses a driver that is incompatible with Windows XP Professional.RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, you must install updated drivers before you upgrade your computer to Windows XP. To do this, visit the following Sony Web site:
