BUG: .NET Framework documentation content missing if you do not install Platform SDK documentation (316051)

SYMPTOMS

If you do not select the Microsoft Platform SDK (PSDK) documentation option when you install Visual Studio .NET, some .NET Framework content will be missing from Help.

RESOLUTION

To ensure you have all of the .NET Framework documentation available, select the Platform SDK (PSDK) documentation option as well as both the Visual Studio .NET and .NET Framework documentation options during installation. (This is the default selection.)

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
