SYMPTOMS

When you fly, the Point of View (POV) hat switch on your joystick may not pan the views as expected.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if the Pan a view event is not assigned properly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, assign the Pan a view event to the joystick. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. On the Main menu, click Settings.
  2. Under Controls, click Assignments.
  3. Scroll the Event list to Pan a view.

NOTE: If the Joystick column shows an assignment already, click to highlight the Pan a view line, and then click Delete joystick assignment to remove it.
  4. Double-click Pan a view in the Assignment list.
  5. Move the POV hat switch on the joystick to assign this event.

NOTE: As you move the POV hat switch, POV 0 should be listed in the box.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Under the Repeat column, make sure the lever is all the way to the right.
  8. Click OK.
