Cannot Use Set Command or Other Commands that Use the Nslookup.exe tool When CAPS LOCK Is Enabled (315365)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the set command or other commands that use the Nslookup.exe tool, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following error message:
*** Can't find address for server TYPE=MX: Non-existent domain
Additionally, you may be unable to quit Nslookup.exe by using the exit command.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if when the CAPS LOCK key is enabled. Nslookup.exe only accepts commands that are typed in lower case.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, make sure that CAPS LOCK is turned off.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
