Intellimouse Optical: Shows a Trail of Cards While Dragging (315114)

When you play the Microsoft Windows Solitaire game one of the following behaviors may occur:
- Your mouse may pick up the entire row of cards when you attempt to pick up a single card.
- When you drag a card, you leave a trail of cards.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because Microsoft IntelliPoint software version 4.0 is installed on your computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods. NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps. - Close IntelliPoint. To do so, right-click the Mouse icon in the status area of the taskbar, and then click Close IntelliPoint.
NOTE: The status area of the taskbar is located in the lower-right corner of your desktop. - Uninstall IntelliPoint. To do so:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft IntelliPoint 4.0, and then click Remove.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to remove IntelliPoint. Click Yes if you receive a prompt to restart your computer.
NOTE: When you remove the IntelliPoint software from your computer, you limit the functionality of your IntelliMouse pointing device.
- Change to outline dragging. To do so:
- Start the Solitaire game.
- Click Game, and then click Options.
- Click to select the Outline dragging check box, and then click OK.
