BUG: Cannot Delete Multiple Messages from IWS If Job ID Numbers Are Too Long (315026)

SYMPTOMS

You may not be able to delete multiple messages by using the Internet Cellular Smart Access (ICSA) Web Service (also known as the IWS) if the total length of the job_ID number is larger than a certain limit.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
