XCCC: Event ID 514 Message Occurs When Push Notifications Are Sent to Your Mobile Device (314990)

When Mobile Information Server push notifications are sent to your mobile device, the following event ID message may be logged on the Microsoft Exchange 2000 server on which the Exchange 2000 Notifications component of Mobile Information Server is installed.

Description:Unexpected content class detected for item <file://./backofficestorage/exchange.company.com/MBX/su/Mobile Inbox/Read%3A FW%3Amessage.EML>.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if a push notification is generated for a read receipt. Mobile Information Server does not support the Report.IPM.Note.IPNRN message class for push notifications.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
