Error Message: "Microsoft Site Server Analysis Requires SQL Server ..." (314914)

When you try to create or build an Analysis database or run Report Writer, you may receive one of the following errors:
Microsoft Site Server analysis does not currently support SQL server version 7.0.
Site Server Analysis requires SQL Server 6.50 Service Pack 4 plus SQL Server build 297 or greater. This installation is described in the Hardware and Software Requirements section of the Site Server 3.0 Readme.

CAUSE
This behavior may occur if the files that are referred to in the "Workaround" section are not updated after you have applied the service pack.

WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, copy the following files manually:
- Use one of the following steps:
- If you are running Site Server Service Pack 3 (SP3), extract the Sp3access.cab file for Microsoft Access or the Sp3sql.cab file for Microsoft SQL Server from the following location
\Microsoft Site Server\SP3\Setup
to the following location:
\Microsoft Site Server\Bin
- If you are running Site Server Service Pack 4 (SP4), extract the Spaccess.cab file for Access or the Spsql.cab file for SQL Server from the following location
\Microsoft Site Server\SP4\Setup
to the following location:
\Microsoft Site Server\Bin
The following five files are replaced in the \Microsoft Site Server\Bin folder:
- Dbsetup.exe
- Cimport.exe
- Report.exe
- Reportui.exe
- Uimport.exe
- Run the Analysis Database Setup Wizard, and then click the Update an existing database option as the Setup mode.
