Create a Terminal Services Client Disk

To create a client disk:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Terminal Services Client Creator.
  2. In the Create Installation Disk(s) dialog box, click the version of the client disk you want to create, and then click OK.
  3. Insert a disk, and then click OK. You have now created a Terminal Services client disk. In the next procedure, you will use this disk to install the Terminal Services client on a Terminal Services client computer.

Install the 32-bit Terminal Services Client

To install the 32-bit Terminal Services client, do the following:
  1. Insert the Terminal Services client disk into the floppy drive of the client computer.
  2. Double-click the Setup.exe file on the Terminal Services Client disk. Read the information in the Welcome to the Terminal Services Client installation program dialog box, and then click Continue.
  3. In the Name and Organization dialog box, type your name, and then click OK.
  4. Confirm your name and organization information by clicking OK, or click Change to make any corrections.
  5. In the License Agreement dialog box, read the agreement, and then click I Agree.
  6. In the Terminal Services Client Setup dialog box, begin installation, and then click the large button.
  7. To install client software for all users, click Yes. To install the client only for the current user, click No.
  8. In the Terminal Services Client Setup dialog box, click OK to begin the installation.
  9. When you are prompted to do so, remove the first Terminal Services client disk, insert the second disk, and then click OK.
  10. When you are notified that Terminal Services Client Setup has completed successfully, click OK.
