SUMMARY

This article explains how to retrieve the Database window if the Database window seems to be lost or is hidden from view.

MORE INFORMATION

There are several reasons why the Database window might get lost or might be hidden from view in the Access window. You might not be able to retrieve the Database window by pressing ALT+SPACEBAR+M, and the vertical scroll bar in the Access window might become so long that you cannot move the scroll bar to locate the Database window.

To retrieve the lost or hidden Database window in such cases, click Tile Horizontally or Tile Vertically on the Window menu, to force the Database window to appear.

Note that if you used the Hide command on the Window menu to hide the Database window, you need to use the Unhide command on the Window menu to show the Database window.
