SUMMARY

Isscan does not work with Exchange 2000 because of fundamental changes to the information store database architecture. Therefore, you cannot use Isscan against an Exchange 2000 computer.

If your Exchange 2000 computer has received a message that has an attachment that is infected by a virus, you can use any of the following methods to remove the virus:
  • Use third-party antivirus software.
