This article was previously published under Q314443 SYMPTOMS
When multiple threads in a process post change notifications on a remote folder by using FindFirstChangeNotification/FindNextNotification APIs, the redirector may not notify all of the threads.
CAUSE
Redirector opens only one handle to the remote folder and shares it across all of the threads. It posts the ChangeNotify to the single folder handle. The server completes one request when there is a change, and only one thread is notified. The next change completes, the second thread is notified, and so on. The expected behavior is to notify all threads that are waiting of the change notification.
