SYMPTOMS

When you start Outlook Express 6.0, the program does not load, and you may receive the following error message:
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module rpcrt4.dll

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if McAfee Personal Firewall is installed and there is a software conflict between Outlook Express 6.0 and McAfee Personal Firewall.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, either remove the McAfee Personal Firewall or contact McAfee technical support for more information about how to configure the Personal Firewall.
