XCCC: Cannot Install Service Pack 2 Conference Web Scheduler on Exchange 2000 Service Pack 1 (314260)

When you try to install the Conferencing Service Service Pack 2 (SP2) on a server that is not running Exchange 2000 SP2, you receive the following error messages during installation:
Error 1904
Module D:Program Files\Microsoft Exchange Conferencing Server\xcmsadm.dll failed to register
HRESULT -2417024770

Module D:Program Files\Microsoft Exchange Conferencing Server\xdcsadm.dll failed to register

Also, after these errors have occurred, Web scheduling capabilities do not work properly.
CAUSE
The Xipcsadm.dll, Xcmsadm.dll, and Xdcsadm.dll files of the administration component are linked against the Msvcp60.dll file, which is installed with the Exchange 2000 SP2.
RESOLUTION
Use either of the following methods to resolve this issue.
Method 1- Install Exchange 2000 SP2.
- Re-run the Exchange Conferencing Service SP2 setup program.
Method 2- Install Exchange 2000 SP2.
- Manually register the Xipcsadm.dll, Xcmsadm.dll, and Xdcsadm.dll files by typing the following at a command prompt, and then pressing ENTER after each line:
x:\Program Files\Microsoft Exchange Conferencing Server\Regsvr32 Xipcmsadm.dll
x:\Program Files\Microsoft Exchange Conferencing Server\Regsvr32 Xcmsadm.dll
x:\Program Files\Microsoft Exchange Conferencing Server\Regsvr32 Xdcsadm.dll
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server.
