Dismount Data Stores- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
- Expand Servers, and then expand the server that you want to work with.
- Expand the storage group that you want to work with.
- In the Details pane, in the list of available data stores, the icon in front of the data store name indicates the status of the data. If the icon shows a red down-arrow, the store is already dismounted.
- Right-click the store that you want to dismount, click Dismount Store, and then click Yes.
