SYMPTOMS

When you are running Mobile Information Server Enterprise Edition, an error message may be logged in the Application event log that is similar to the following error message:

Description:
Process MOBIINFO.EXE (PID=2392). An LDAP search call failed - Error code=80040952. Base DN=DC=nwtraders,DC=com, Filter=(sAMAccountName=carrier_some_users), Scope=2.

CAUSE

This issue can occur because the carrier_some_users account should only exist on Mobile Information Server Carrier Edition servers.

WORKAROUND

This error message might be logged on a Mobile Information Server Enterprise Edition server; however, to work around this issue you can safely ignore this error message because no functionality is affected.
