BUG: Slow Response Times When You Use the IMAP4 Module (313835)

SYMPTOMS

You may experience slow response times when you use the Internet Message Access Protocol 4 (IMAP4) module.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if there are delays of up to 200 milliseconds (ms) between subsequent TCP/IP packets.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
