When you install the Firewall client on a Microsoft Windows 98-based computer, upgrade the operating system Windows XP, and then uninstall the Firewall client, the Firewall client icon is not removed from Control Panel.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Control Panel (.cpl) files are created in different folders, depending on the operating system. The uninstall procedure for the Firewall client's .cpl file is based on the current operating system, which is different from the original installation folder. When you use the Add/Remove Programs tool, the tool tries to delete the .cpl file from the incorrect folder.
