FIX: Security Update for SAK 2.0, 2.01 (313698)

SYMPTOMS

Server Manager can access all of the subtab pages, which is prohibited if the pages were previously bookmarked by the administrator.

-or-

Server Manager or a user can change date and time settings even if those settings were bookmarked by the administrator.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next SAK Security Update that contains this hotfix.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
