OL2002: You Receive an Error Message When You Select a Folder Home Page with a Secure Web Link (HTTPS) (313471)

SYMPTOMS

If you configure a default folder home page in Outlook 2002 and the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to the default Web page is a secure Web link (with the HTTPS [Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure] prefix), you may receive the following error message when you select the folder in the Web View pane of Outlook 2002:
Unable to Display Folder

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English-language version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP-2).
