To fit your photo within a certain print size without cropping the photo, follow these steps:
  1. Start Microsoft Picture It! or Microsoft Greetings. On the File menu, click Open.
  2. Select the photo that you want to print, and then click Open.
  3. Under Picture Options, click Print, and then click Print multiple pictures.
  4. To accept the default printer, click Next.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Under Click a category, click Standard Photographic.

      -or-
    • If you are printing to a specific paper product, click the corresponding category under Click a category.
  6. Under Click an orientation, click either Portrait or Landscape to match the orientation of your picture.
  7. On the right, click a template, and then click Next.
  8. In the next pane, click One picture, and then click Next.
  9. Under Click an insert method, click Fit within.
  10. From the tray at the bottom of the screen, click and drag your picture to a blue rectangle in the template, and then click Next.
  11. Select the number of copies and the print quality that you want, and then click Print.
