Install the WdLocalCopy Add-in
After you download this add-in, follow these steps to install it:
- Double-click WdLocalCopy.exe.
- After you read and accept the license agreement, extract the file to your Office folder. For example, extract the file to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10
The Office folder may be located in a different path on your computer. If it is, extract the file to the Office folder on your computer. - Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type the following, and then click OK:
Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WdLocalCopy.dll"
If you extracted the WdLocalCopy.dll file to a different path, make the corresponding change to the Regsvr32 path also.
The add-in is now installed.
