XCCC: Exchange Connector for Novell GroupWise Synchronizes Objects That Are Touched in Active Directory (313227)

SYMPTOMS

The Exchange 2000 Server version of the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Novell GroupWise does not check to see if updates need to be applied before the Exchange Connector for Novell GroupWise applies those updates. If any objects are touched in the Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory, the corresponding objects are touched in GroupWise. In addition, if you force a full reload, all of the objects are touched whether or not their attribute values have changed.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior and minimize the impact of a large directory synchronization, schedule directory synchronization for non-working hours.
