When you view your alert status in the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000 Administrator console, you may receive the following alert:

The Description: MCSActiveDirectory: Active Directory Lost Objects value = 1000 objects does not mean that you are losing 1000 Active Directory objects. The lost and found script used 1000 as an error value to indicate that an error occurred while running the script.
