BUG: You Cannot Add a BizTalk Server to a Group If the Messaging Service Is Paused (312761)

When you try to add a server to a BizTalk Server group through the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Administration Interface, you may receive the following error message:
The specified server cannot be added because of a failure returned from the
BizTalk Server WMI provider: Server "BIZTALKSERVER" cannot be added because
BizTalk Server is not installed on the computer.
When this error occurs, the BizTalk Messaging Service has a status of "Paused."
CAUSE
The BizTalk Messaging Service for a BizTalk Server must have a "Started" status to add that server to a BizTalk Server group. If you attempt to add a BizTalk server to a group while that BizTalk server's Messaging Service has a "Paused" status, the BizTalk Administration interface returns the error message.
If a you remove a BizTalk server from a group while you are logged on to the console of that same BizTalk server, the BizTalk Server Messaging Service for that server enters a "Paused" state.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem:
- Stop and restart the BizTalk Messaging Service from a command line or open the Services application in Control Panel.

- Add the server to the BizTalk Server group through the MMC Administration interface.

To view the state of the BizTalk Messaging Service, open Control Panel, start the Services application, and then check the status of the BizTalk Messaging Service.
