PRB: You Cannot Use Some BizTalk Tools to Connect to a WebDAV Repository Through SSL (312744)

SYMPTOMS

If you attempt to connect to a WebDAV repository through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) with the BizTalk Editor, Mapper, or Seed Wizard:
  • You receive the following error message:
    No BizTalk Server repository was found on http://servername:443/BizTalkServerRepository/DocSpecs. Enter another server name to retry the WebDAV connection.
  • The tools may stop responding.

CAUSE

The BizTalk Editor, Mapper, and Seed Wizard do not support connections to a WebDAV Repository through SSL.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
