BUG: X12 and Edifact Group Control Number in Advanced Channel Configuration Is Limited to Nine Digits (312656)

On a channel's Advanced Configuration page, you can type a maximum of nine digits in the Group control number box for the X12 envelope formats and the Edifact envelope formats.
CAUSE
Entries made in the Group control number box are limited to a string of no more than nine characters. This limit is valid for the X12 envelope format; however, for the Edifact envelope format, you should be able to enter up to 14 characters.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 and 2002.
