SYMPTOMS

Windows Media programs that use multiple Advanced Streaming Format (ASF) writers may create content with unexpected pink, magenta, or green colors.

RESOLUTION

This video codec problem is addressed in a future version of the Windows Media Format (WMF) Software Development Kit (SDK).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
