The ALT+N Keyboard Shortcut Does Not Work as Expected on End-User License Agreement Dialog Box (312557)

SYMPTOMS

When you install Microsoft Mobile Information Server 2002, if you use the keyboard to navigate through Setup, the ALT+N keyboard shortcut (which should bring you to the next step in Setup) may actually be the shortcut for the I do not accept option in the End-User License Agreement dialog box.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, after you agree to the End-User License Agreement, press the TAB key on the keyboard to choose the Next button, press the ENTER key, and then continue Setup.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
