SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to paste a slide from one presentation into another in the slide sorter, the copied slide may not be pasted.

This issue occurs if you close the presentation from which you are copying the slide before you paste the slide into another presentation.

To work around this issue, keep both presentations open while you copy and paste slides between presentations.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
