MacOFFX: Worksheet Appears in Front of the Slide When You Copy from Excel into PowerPoint (312240)

When you copy a section of an Excel X for Mac worksheet or a graph into a PowerPoint X for Mac slide, the worksheet appears in front of the slide in PowerPoint. The worksheet is not active; any keyboard commands that you use affect the PowerPoint presentation and not the Excel workbook.
WORKAROUND
To return focus to the PowerPoint X program, click the PowerPoint X icon in the Dock.
To fully activate Excel X, click anywhere on the worksheet.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
