FTP and NNTP Services Are Not Restarted After Installation (312165)

If File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) services are installed on the server when you install Microsoft Mobile Information Server, the services remain stopped after the installation.
CAUSE
This issue can occur because Mobile Information Server installation stops all services that are related to Internet Information Services (IIS) to complete the installation, but Mobile Information Server does not restart these services after the installation.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, manually restart the FTP and NNTP services after you install Mobile Information Server.
