This server is one of a group of four Windows 2000-based Terminal Servers. The other three servers are running Citrix MetaFrame 1.8. All of the servers are running programs for Microsoft Windows 98- and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based clients. The three servers that run Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 are functioning normally.
CAUSE
This behavior can be caused by a problem with the Citrix MetaFrame XP licensing software. After Citrix MetaFrame XP licenses are upgraded from Citrix MetaFrame 1.8, the Citrix licensing program sees the licenses as migration licenses. The behavior is not caused by Terminal Server licensing.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, uninstall the Citrix MetaFrame XP licenses, install the original Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 licenses, and then reinstall the Citrix XP connection licenses. Also, you may be able to resolve this behavior by installing Feature Release 1 License.
