SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the Deerfield.com WinGate Internet Client, you may not be able to browse the internet or connect to your Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) e-mail account through a WinGate server.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, reinstall WinGate Internet Client according to instructions from Deerfield.com. Visit the Deerfield.com Web site at: When you reinstall WinGate Internet Client, the installation program finds the WinGate server and properly configures the client. Note that you do not need to use a proxy server with WinGate Internet Client.
