SUMMARY

If a user with limited access rights tries to run a full-screen DOS box on a computer that is running Japanese Windows XP, the characters on the screen may be unreadable.

MORE INFORMATION

This problem does not occur if a user with full or Administrative rights tries to run a full-screen DOS box. Users with limited access rights should only run a minimized or maximized DOS box; these users should not press the ALT+ENTER key combination to display a full screen.
