You can use the following mail formats to import data into Entourage X:

• Microsoft Entourage 2001.
• Microsoft Outlook Express version 5.
• Qualcomm Eudora (any version).
• Netscape Communicator version 4.0.
• Claris Emailer version 2.0 version 3.
• Claris Organizer version 2.0.
• Palm Desktop version 2.0 through 2.63.
  
  NOTE: Palm 4.0 desktop software released after Entourage X.
• Now Contact or Now Up-To-Date version 3.8 or later

A few of these formats have known issues. Refer to the Entourage X Read Me.html file for additional information.

You cannot use the following mail formats to directly import data into Entourage X:

• Microsoft Outlook Express version 4.5 or earlier
• Apple Mail
• Netscape Navigator version 5.0 or later

If you have a program that is not listed, you can import contacts and messages that are in a tab-delimited text format. To do this, export the contacts or messages in a tab-delimited text format, and then use the Import Wizard that is available on the Entourage File menu to import the contacts or messages into Entourage. For example, you can export contacts from Microsoft Outlook 2000 as a tab-delimited text file and then import the file to Entourage.

1. Insert the Microsoft Office X CD in your CD Drive.
2. On the desktop, double-click the Microsoft Office X CD icon.
3. In the Microsoft Office X Finder window, double-click the Microsoft Office X folder icon.
4. In the new Microsoft Office X Finder window, double-click the Read Me folder icon.
5. In the Read Me Finder window, double-click the Entourage Read Me.html file.
