BUG: When You Press ALT+O in the Orders Manager Module in the BizDesk, Instead of Opening the Purchase Order, the Focus Switches to Orders (311518)

SYMPTOMS

In the Commerce Server Business Desk Orders Manager module, under Accelerator for Suppliers, when you press ALT+O to open a purchase order, it does not open. Instead, the focus switches to the Orders module.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Open Purchase Order and Orders have the same keyboard shortcut (ALT+O).

RESOLUTION

To open a purchase order, click the Open toolbar button. Use ALT+O to switch to Orders.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

To reproduce the problem, follow these steps:
  1. Submit a few purchase orders.
  2. In the Business Desk, expand the Accelerator for Suppliers category, and then click to select Orders Manager.
  3. Click one purchase order to make the Open toolbar button available.
  4. Press ALT+O.
