Problems Running Gnotella Version 1.0.3 on Windows XP (311493)

SYMPTOMS

When you are running the Gnotella version 1.0.3 program and you search for files, you may receive the following access violation error message when Gnotella creates a scrollbar:

Gnotella has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you view the data the error report contains, the following error signature information may be displayed:

CAUSE

This problem can occur when the "listview" in a program lists more entries than it can hold.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain an update that resolves this problem from the Microsoft Windows Update Web site:

STATUS
