Error message when you use Search Form component in a Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Web (310680)

When you attempt to search by using a Search Form component in a Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Web, you may receive the following error message
Error "Service is not running." (0x80041820) encountered while processing the query "query"
where query is the search query that you attempt to perform.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur in the following situation:
- You publish a Web that contains a Search Form component to a Web server that is hosting Microsoft Index Server.
- The Index Server service is not running.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, start Index Server. To do this, follow these steps.
NOTE: The virtual server (Web site) must be configured to use Index Server. For information about configuring Index Server, view the articles listed in the "More Information" section of this article.
- On the Web server computer that is hosting Index Server, start Index Server Manager. To do this, click Start, point to Programs, point to Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack, point to Microsoft Index Server, and then click Index Server Manager.
- Right-click Index Server on Local Machine and then click Start on the shortcut menu.
- On the Console menu, click Exit.
In Windows XP
To start Index Server in Windows XP, follow these steps:
- On the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel.
- Click the Administrative Tools icon.
- Click the Service icon.
- In the list of services, right-click Indexing Service and then click Start.
