SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to drill down on a dimension member in the Cube Browser, the Analysis Manager Microsoft Management Console (MMC) displays the following error message, and then stops responding (hangs):
Unable to display current view of cube An unexpected internal error has occurred

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
