FIX: Copy and Paste of ROLAP Partition May Overwrite Aggregation Tables (308960)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services
This article was previously published under Q308960
BUG #: 1336 (Plato7X)
SYMPTOMS
If you copy and paste a relational OLAP (ROLAP) cube from the Analysis Manager, the copy and paste action does not modify the aggregation prefix to a new default name. If you process the new cube that Analysis Manager creates when you perform the paste, Analysis Manager destroys the existing aggregations. This behavior occurs when you use the localized Japanese version of Analysis Services 2000 on a localized Japanese version of Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
