SYMPTOMS
When you have a default instance of Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and a named instance of SQL Server 2000 on the same computer, a scheduled Data Transformation Services (DTS) package may report a successful execution in the scheduled job's history, even when a package task fails. SQL Server reports the correct error message when you execute the package from Enterprise Manager or from the DTS Designer.
