LU3 Print Jobs Use 6 LPI Even If PDT Configured for 8 LPI (308616)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000
This article was previously published under Q308616 SYMPTOMS
LU3 print jobs may print using 6 lines per inch (LPI) even though the
print session is configured to use a printer definition table (PDT)
file that specifies 8 LPI for the print session.
CAUSE
The print server sends resets for LPI and maximum print position (MPP)
for each new bracket it receives from the host system during an LU3
print session. The LPI and MPP values that are issued by the print
server may override the settings defined in the PDT file.
